And the Indian summer worked miracles… June offered optimal conditions for flowering, but July and August were gloomy. September, on the other hand, was a splendid, never-ending Indian summer, so dear to Bordeaux and which was the great architect of this very classic and promising vintage. The interminable 5-week harvest was used to pick each plot at its optimum ripeness. Powerful, generous and very expressive Merlots. Racy, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. Finally, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot are as complex as they rarely are. A voluptuous, powerful, delicious and well-balanced vintage.
Complex, open nose, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and zan. Dense and long on the palate, creamy and balanced, with blackberry aromas and a spicy finish.
